CCU Department of Theatre Presents: Twelfth Night or What You Will - Written as part of the festivities that signified the end of the Christmas season in Elizabethan times, Twelfth Night depicts a world turned upside down where anything is possible. Duke Orsino has set his sights on the countess Olivia, who is in mourning and uninterested in men following the death of her brother. Orsino sends Cesario, who is actually Viola disguised as a man, to woo Olivia on his behalf. Viola and her twin brother Sebastian each think the other is dead following a shipwreck. What follows is a topsy-turvy pursuit of love that has delighted audiences for centuries. “If music be the food of love, play on!” Admission: $15 General Admission

Philosopher's Corner: The Limits of Moral Reflection - Some moral questions have obvious answers, but some questions turn out to be more difficult. Is this because we simply haven’t found the answers to these questions? Or is it because some moral questions are unresolvable? According to a widely held view, if we think carefully enough and long enough about the hard questions of morality, then we will finally arrive at a verdict about what to do. Dr. David Killoren, a professor in the Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies, will argue that many moral questions cannot ultimately be resolved, at least not in a fully satisfying way.
