    - Monster Box Theatre highlights the summer schedule with The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a hilarious interactive musical comedy. This Tony Award- winning Broadway show features 6 adolescent spellers vying for the title of Champion, while addressing the angst, self-doubt, and heartache that make growing up both torturous AND exciting.

Spelling Bee hostess and former Bee Champion Rona Lisa Perretti, with unenthused Vice Principal Douglas Panch and Comfort Counselor-on-Parole Mitch Mahoney, do their best to supervise the mayhem of the Bee. Along with compelling music and lyrics, smart comedy and choreography, audience members are invited to participate as volunteer spellers. This unique show allows for improvisation and a guarantee that you will never see the same show twice.
