    - Do these phrases sound familiar?
•“I feel like I spend most of my day preparing meals and cleaning up after. I need time for other things....”
•“I am tired of adapting recipes for two….”
•“My husband won’t eat what I fix, What can I do?....”
•“ My wife has done the cooking for all of our marriage, Now I cook for her, we eat out a lot….”
•I’m just not that hungry, one meal a day is enough….”

Come, bring your loved one, relax among friends, get a whole home cooked meal you did not have to prepare…

•We will talk about quick techniques to prepare foods and make them look attractive without a lot of work.

•We will also share recipes with other caregivers who come so bring a copy of your favorite easy recipe if you wish.

•Bring your favorite “quick, go-to” dish to that others can sample and supplement our meal or just come to enjoy a meal with friends. (We will provide something from each food group to make the meal and have some samples of other healthy foods that you can quickly and easily make.) Outlets will be available to keep things warm, and cooler space to keep things cool, but please bring your dish ready to serve at 5:30pm.

    - This war is also known as the First World War or the Great War. It was a global war originating in Europe that began on July 28th,1914 and lasted until November 11th,1918. The assignation of the Archduke Francis Ferdinand and his wife by a Serbian nationalist is what provoked this war. Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia, which was the formal beginning of the war.

  • | 6:00pm - 12:00am | Charity, Fundraiser, Relay For Life
    - The Relay For Life movement fuels the mission of the American Cancer Society, an organization that touches the lives of so many – those who are battling cancer, those who may face a diagnosis, and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education, prevention, and early detection. Until we can raise enough money to fund the research that can prevent or cure all cancers, we will continue to face its devastating effects in our lives. Your hard work helps support critical cancer research and services to cancer patients and their families in your community. You can make a real difference in the lives of those facing cancer by supporting the American Cancer Society.
