Superhero Farm Fest | Shows, Festivals, and Fairs, superhero, CASA, Tryon Farm, race, contest, fun zone, family, kids, camping- Family Advocates and Tryon Farm Institute are organizing a family friendly 5K/10K Trail Run and Kids Fun Run at Tryon Farm to benefit the volunteer advocacy services that CASA provides to local children in foster care. Participants are invited to dress as their favorite superhero and participate in the races, costume contest, a pumpkin decorating contest, Family Fun Zone, food, music and other fun festivities!

The Deep Fried Pickle Project
The Deep Fried Pickle Project will have an instrument petting zoo and an opportunity for kids to make their own jug band instruments.
The Family Fun Zone will feature the bands, food vendors, carnival games, bounce house and face painting.
A great day to bring chairs or blanket and enjoy the SUPERHERO farm atmosphere!
FRIDAY - Sept 30 (6pm - 9pm)
6:oo pm – Bonfire + Food Truck dinner begins
7:oo – 1st ever Tryon Night Run! (~2 miles; paved road; Night Runners MUST bring their own headlamp flashlight and reflective tape or you will not be permitted to start. Safety first!)
9:00 – Bonfire ends, overnight Camping under the stars begins

Did he really call his shot? Some Disagree, some eyewitnesses and Cubs pitcher Charlie Root believe he did not. Even Babe Ruth's Daughter said that he denied it, but Babe himself also claimed he did it.
