AMU Drive FORE Veterans Charity Wellness Golf Tournament | 7:00am - 3:00pm | Charity, Fundraiser, military, veteran, golf, wellness, stonewall, gainesville, wounded warriors- American Military University (AMU) is pleased to announce an exciting new initiative designed to assist the nation’s wounded veterans.
We invite you to support this important mission by becoming a corporate sponsor of the Inaugural AMU Drive FORE Veterans Wellness Golf Tournament. Sponsorship and registration proceeds from this event will be donated to Boulder Crest Retreat and Serve our Willing Warriors. These two wellness center charities cater to the needs of our nation’s wounded veterans by helping them to rebuild and strengthen their lives. Each sponsoring organization will be recognized for its generous support and there will be full ongoing transparency and reporting of all donations.
The tournament is open to any organization or individual interested in helping a veteran. Join us to help make this event a success and demonstrate your commitment to supporting the well-being of our veterans.
COST: $100 PER PLAYER / $400 PER TEAM

Did he really call his shot? Some Disagree, some eyewitnesses and Cubs pitcher Charlie Root believe he did not. Even Babe Ruth's Daughter said that he denied it, but Babe himself also claimed he did it.

Herbert Birch Kingston, a philanthropist and candy company employee wanted to bring happiness into the lives of the sick, orphans, shut-ins and others who were forgotten by distributing candy to them. Thus, Sweetest Day was born. Today is the day to do something nice for someone that will make him or her say, "Oh, that's so sweet!" Annually, the third Saturday in October.
