    - The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Our Task Force is a privately funded organization whose purpose is to encourage participation on the National Day of Prayer. It exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families. The Task Force represents a Judeo-Christian expression of the national observance, based on our understanding that this country was birthed in prayer and in reverence for the God of the Bible.

  • | Government, Politics, David Jordan Clerk of Court, Angie for Clerk, Vote, Flag Day, Elections
    - After much prayer, consideration and discussion with family, friends and supporters, Angie Altman-Robbins has decided NOT to run for Horry County Clerk of Court.

When I announced my candidacy in the fall, I was looking forward to the experience of an exciting campaign. I love the Clerk's Office and Staff and I am very blessed to have had this opportunity.

Over the past six months on the campaign trail, I have reconnected with old friends, and met different candidates & voters and I will cherish these experiences forever.

However, I also began to understand the amount of sacrifice from family, friends and normal life that is demanded of candidates. Therefore, I will not file for office at this time.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone I met along the way! Thanks to the people who supported me and were working hard for my election. Please know this decision was not made lightly, and I believe it is best for my family and the Clerk's Office at this time.

I am pleased to endorse David Jordan for Office of Clerk of Court. I ask all of those who supported my campaign to support David Jordan. I believe he is extremely qualified for the office, is eager to serve the citizens of Horry County and he brings a unique set of credentials to the campaign. David Jordan will be good for the Clerks Office and the citizens of Horry County.
    Love Angie

Welcome to Pirate Adventures of Myrtle Beach! A place where children come to experience the magic of sailing away in search of sunken treasure. Come aboard our pirate ship and get caught up in this real life adventure. Be amazed as our crew taps into the wonder of a child’s imagination. Your child will be painted with a curly mustache or with an anchor tattoo, dressed with a lucky tea sure hunting vest and marched off to the ship.

Once aboard, the young pirates will learn the rules at sea aboard the Sea Gypsy and use a treasure map to find the sunken treasure. As the crew searches for clues, they discover that Pirate Pete, the smiliest, most rotten, pirate on the Seven Seas, is lurking nearby, and he has something our brave crew needs. Off we go into battle with our famous water cannons! Will the crew defeat Pirate Pete and find the sunken treasure!?!
Aboard the Sea Gypsy, we always find the treasure, we always defeat that Pirate Pete, and the children always walk away with incredible stories!

He examines these questions through projections, videos and audio that explore the narratives of marginalized voices.

    Love Angie

    - Barry R. Jones’ work explores ethics and asks the oldest of questions: What does it mean to live a good life? What is our responsibility to each other, to our families, to those with disabilities, to the past? In the face of tragedy, how do we reaffirm that life is good? He examines these questions through projections, videos and audio that explore the narratives of marginalized voices.

    - What a fun idea! Make your own Adult Coloring Book – choose a picture from our OR your coloring book (see sample picture)! Then pick out a piece of pottery to put this picture on – anything from a plate/platter, bowls, cups, etc. You will be shown how to transfer the picture on to the pottery then outline it with a 3-D glaze – how cool is this! We will fire the creation then you can either leave it as is or color the picture with our glazes and we will re-fire! This is great for adults and teens. When you choose your pottery, you will have a $20 credit to apply to your pottery purchase. After the class you will be able to make your own coloring books on other items at any time – make a whole set of something! Day and evening classes are currently being offered. Come join the fun and surprise everyone with your creativity and skill! Sign up for class at our website http://www.HarryThePotter.com (upper right corner - Events) and like us on facebook http://www.Facebook.com/HTP.MB for ongoing alerts & information.
