    - Higley Center presents “A Christmas Together,” bringing together “The Kingston Trio Holiday Concert” and “Jim Curry’s John Denver Rocky Mountain Christmas.” This world premiere features the Kingston Trio performing holiday songs and old Trio favorites. Recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Grammy in 2011, the Trio has played Pops Concerts with symphony orchestras for over 35 years but this Higley Center presentation marks the Kingston Trio’s first ever Pops Concert of its Christmas repertoire! Opening the show is Jim Curry, who performs his John Denver holiday tribute, using the original orchestra arrangements written for John Denver. Topping off this amazing evening of music is the appearance of 18-time Emmy nominee Lee Holdridge, who created the John Denver orchestra arrangements and who will be conducting the Chandler Symphony Orchestra throughout the evening! In the other eight years, the Bowl will host top ranked teams from around the country as assigned by a selection committee.     - Doc Holliday. Meet the man, not the myth. Written by Terry Earp, in collaboration with Doc Holliday’s closest living relative, Karen Holliday-Tanner, this play chronicles the West’s most famous dentist and his journey from being one who heals to one who “keals” (kills). Set in a Denver jail cell, where Doc has been placed into protective custody that has stretched from the intended few hours to several days, Doc begins bantering with the other prisoners, expressing his anger with the jailor for ignoring his needs. You, the audience, are the other prisoners. This is the story Hollywood didn’t tell, performed by Wyatt Earp, great-grandnephew of THE Wyatt Earp. Tickets: $25.
