They can range from school schedules, community events, recycling schedules, and even local sports schedules. Typically the events on the calendar are obtained through the local Chamber of Commerce or any other organization that would like to promote events in your area.
How is the calendar distributed? The calendars are delivered via U.S. Mail to the families (and sometimes businesses) of your designated communities.
