The City of San Ramon is sponsoring a free Recycling Drop-Off Event this weekend, Saturday October 4 and Sunday October 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The event will be held in the parking lot of the Dougherty Station Community Center, 17011 Bollinger Canyon Rd. at East Branch Parkway.   Residents and businesses from any city can drop off electronics such as TV’s and computers.  Goodwill Industries will have a trailer at the event to accept donations of used clothing, shoes, toys, books and housewares.   San Ramon residents and businesses may also recycle green waste, clean wood waste, cardboard, scrap metal, paper, bottles and cans at the event, and are eligible to receive a free bag of compost while supply lasts.  For more information please call (925) 973-2800 or visit www.sanramon.ca.gov.
