Tuesday's Angels Inc. was founded in 1993 by several gentlemen in Fort Lauderdale who wanted to give emergency assistance to needy people with HIV/AIDS. Their goal was to provide immediate help for people who were not being covered by the established system. They decided to sponsor a monthly dinner where those in attendance would make donations for the organization's purposes. All monies raised go to client assistance.
Tuesday's Angels is one of the most successful organizations of its kind in Florida, both in terms of the number of people it has helped over the years, and the esteem in which it is held by other HIV/AIDS organizations.
