2008 Highlights

Both races are certified by the USA Track and Field and can serve as qualifiers for other races!

New 5K race format!  We have change our 5K event to include two categories:  5K timed runners and 5k Fun Run/Walk participants.  5K timed runners will need to pick-up their timing chip before the race and will start the 5k event at 8:15 am.  5K Fun Run/Walk participants will begin immediately after the 5K runners and will not be timed.

The additional youth sizes were a hit last year, so we will continue to have them available for regular 100% cotton race shirts.

½ Marathon finisher medal – Complete the ½ marathon and
receive this medal (at right).

The first 500 runners to register for the ½ Marathon will receive a long sleeve performance T shirt in lieu of the regular 100% cotton race shirt.

The first 25 females and 25 males to complete each race (5K and 1/2M) will receive a special short sleeve performance T shirt commemorating their accomplishment.
