More About Spring Bird Breakfast

Join of for one of our favorite traditional events to celebrate the peak of spring migration. Following our Spring Migration Bird Tours at 7 a.m., complimentary breakfast will be served at the Asnes Barn. Materials on bird migration will be available for all attendees and naturalists will be on hand to point out the many colorful migratory birds that will be singing around us.
This year we are incredibly excited to also have LIVE BIRD BANDING demonstrations by Audubon CT Director of Bird Conservation, Corrie Folsom-O'Keefe. Starting at 8 a.m. and throughout the breakfast period you will have the special opportunity to observe our migrating songbirds up close while being handled by licensed bird banders to learn about the important research bird banding provides us for conservation efforts.
Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. following our Spring Migration Bird Tours. Bird Tour attendees will have the option to be led on these guided tours at both our main Sanctuary and Fairchild Gardens on North Porchuck Road.
Upon arrival for breakfast walk down the main driveway of the Greenwich Audubon Center to the Asnes Barn (Second red barn on your RIGHT). Handicap parking only is available at the Asnes Barn, if you wish to reserve a handicap parking space please contact us and we will be happy to make arrangements.
