Summary:
Supervises the Bin Repair department to ensure the following duties are being completed and to the satisfaction of management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and management retains the discretion to add, delete or change the duties/responsibilities at any time.)
Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets or trucks.
Tear down and reassemble damaged bin sleeves, tops and bottoms, as well as assemble new bins in support of bin purchase orders.
Complete all bin repairs and assemblies in a timely manner in order to prevent any negative impact on company operations and customer service.
Maintain records of all completed work.
Maintains inventory levels and ensures a sufficient level of inventory to support repair and purchase orders in a timely manner.
Follows company policies, procedures and safety regulations.
Completes all job duties in a safe manner and wears proper personal protective equipment when required.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
