Cutler Mill Original Drawing

Originally built in 1868 by Charles Cutler to house Cutler Manufacturing, the Cutler Mill building and complex has an important history and influence. It is conveniently located in the waterfront town of Warren, Rhode Island. Around the turn of the 19th century, Cutler Mill was the largest employer in the East Bay. Now, almost 150 years after it was built, Cutler Mill is a small community within Rhode Island's smallest town where locals from Bristol, Warren, Barrington and elsewhere come regularly for food, the arts and business. It is just 10 minutes from downtown Bristol, 15 minutes from Providence and 30 minutes from Newport. Cutler Mill is currently home to some of Warren's most popular and prestigious businesses. Tenants of the 68,000 sq ft mill facility include AVTECH Software, Tom's Market & Catering, B.R.A.S.S.East Bay Chamber Of Commerce, and the Cutler Mill Event Room.

Renovated in 2008 by Sigourney LLC, Cutler Mill has been nominated for a listing on the National Historic Register. On September 18th, 2010, then Governor Donald Carcieri stated at AVTECH Software's Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening that "Cutler Mill is the best restoration and repurposing of any mill in Rhode Island." To learn more or to inquire about rental space, tenants or use of the Event Room, please call Michael Sigourney at 401.628.1616.

Right next door at 30 Cutler Street is Cutler Mill South, a 100,000 sq ft extension to the mill that was built in 1881 and is home to many artisan owned and operated businesses. There you will find some of the most beautiful hand made chairs and tables by Warren Chair Works, copper weathervanes by Ferro Weathervanes, pottery by Mudstone Studios, sign makers, artists and more.

Come to the Cutler Mill and see your friends and neighbors actively making a difference in the East Bay community.
