First off, I don't like to write poor reviews unless there is overwhelming reason to do so, this one falls in that category. We were in process of purchasing a home with an older barn and a modular on it. A "structural engineer" was highly recommended and Bob was on the short list of approved inspectors. On my first phone call to him, he was impatient, did not permit me to ask questions and dictated what time he would arrive and then essentially ended the call prior to me agreeing. (Okay whatever) His first real error in judgement was that he never reached out to the seller's agent to let them know he would be on the property. Fortunately the Pillar to Post Home inspector was there to let him in. His second error was that he was 35 min. late. Thirdly he came unprepared. The most grievous error though was the He could not recognize termite activity (the other home inspector there at the time, had to point it out to him) I paid 400.00, which he cashed and deposited the same day. I asked when the report would be ready and was told he would send in less than 24 hours. 48 hours later, still no report so I called again, no answer. And again, no answer. My realtor called, no answer. And again, no answer. Finally, now 5 days after the inspection he just called to tell me he sent it 2 days ago...um, no. Profoundly deaf on the phone, he shares that I never gave my email to him. No, sir, I wrote it on the piece of paper that I handed you. (Did you lose it maybe?) When the report at last makes it to my email, yes! you guessed it, it is some other person's report - yikes. Not professional in the least.

I work with Bob often. What ever i design, he knows how to make it stronger and less expensive. Now we go overseas and design hospital for the poor. We also designed "Cozy Homes" for the people of South Eastern Kentucky. In the floods this summer many of their cars and homes washed away and they are living in tents or homes with no floors.
