[[ h5 ]] I teach ages 6 and up and from total beginners to advanced players.

[[ h5 ]] I only teach online via Zoom now. I have been teaching online since 2012, and have had multiple students receive full music scholarships from my online methods of teaching.

[[ h5 ]] I will teach the student any style of music they are interested in. I have taught Rock, Blues, Country, Metal, Progressive Rock, Jazz, Reggae, Funk, Rap, Finger Style, Folk, Worship, and even Electronica / Rave music. There is no style of music I won’t teach.

[[ h5 ]] No. But, I use books I have written and a huge library of music to teach from. I am very passionate about teaching, and I aim to make every student better than I am on guitar. I do keep lessons FUN, and will constantly crack jokes to keep us all laughing, engaged, and learning!

[[ h5 ]] Yes, but I gradually work it in as the student progresses. From my experience, unless the student specifically asks, learning music theory leads to boredom and disinterest in the instrument.

[[ h5 ]] No Problem! Life is too short to play songs you don’t LOVE! There’s plenty MORE to choose from. Let’s find you a better one.

[[ h5 ]] You can, I think YouTube videos are a very valuable tool and I often use them to supplement my lessons, but what a video can’t give you is feedback. I can watch your hands, picking motion and technique and make corrections to your playing.

[[ h5 ]] Nope! I’m not Planet Fitness and like to keep things simple for you AND me. Just send me a quick email if you want to pause or stop lessons. If you can’t use up all your lessons for the month, a refund will be issued for the lessons not taken.

[[ h5 ]] My schedule is too full to do make up lessons. But I won’t leave you out to dry! If you have a request for that week, let me know and I will get you the sheet music and a video to go along with it.
