About Tandoori

About Tandoori

Founded in 1996, Tandoori Taste of India has been satisfying customers in the tri-state area with our main Port Chester, New York location with quality Indian cuisine prepared with the freshest ingredients & spices.

Our authentic Indian cuisine and tandoor oven - which can reach temperatures of up to 900 degrees fahrenheit - have received remarkable reviews by Zagat, among others.

Owner and Founder Bharat Patel is originally from Gujarat, India where he grew up in the farming industry working closely with his family. His entrepreneurial spirit and love of Indian cuisine helped him start Tandoori Taste of India – one of Westchester’s very first Indian restaurants!

SOME OF Our Customers ARE SAYING:

"A great bar selection paired with excellent North Indian specialties - and if you want something special just ask and they will make it! Tandoori is a warm & inviting dining atmosphere. Go & enjoy it!" - Jason M.

"The best Indian food in Westchester. I have been there dozens of times with my wife and we never leave disappointed. I would recommend the vegetable kolhapuri if you're in the mood for something spicy. If not, the sabji saag malai is creamy and delicious. The staff is very friendly and courteous. If you're going to dinner on a weekend, try to get there early because parking can fill up quickly (or walk if you're local)." - Andhi O.

"Delicious authentic Indian food! I came a few times for a buffet and dinner and was really impressed. Service is excellent - definitely a great spot! The chicken tikka masala is some of the best I've had. If you've never had Indian food the lunch buffet is a great way to taste a variety of options.  You won't be disappointed!" - Shane M.

"We went here for the first time last week.  The food was amazing.  Every dish was delicious!  The service and ambience was top notch.  This is my new go to place for the best Indian food in the tri-state!  Just made myself hungry for more." - Vik B.

"I have been going there for 10 years with my family and have never had a bad meal, bad experience ever. Best food, best service! I was there last night to be honest." - Kim C.
