How To Honor a Life?

Planning a funeral for a loved one is one of life’s rituals that almost all of us will encounter at some point in our lives. You may feel deep sadness as you plan this funeral, but creating a meaningful tribute for someone who meant so much to your own life can help put you on the path to healing.

As you consider the various aspects of a funeral for a burial or cremation, there are several elements that you will need to consider in order to create a touching tribute for your loved one.

In October 1999, a new tradition in local funeral service became a reality when Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors purchased Rainer Carmichael Funeral Home and Rainer Funeral Home. The facility names were updated to “Cannon Cleveland” and construction of a new facility was immediately in the works. Today, that facility remains locally owned and operated by Greg Cannon and Peter Thornton.

There is a difference in the services provided by various funeral homes, and at Cannon Cleveland, we believe families need and deserve care that meets their unique needs. We pride ourselves in meeting families where they are, by honoring their special requests or needs, and providing an exceptional service. Not stopping there, we strive to not only meet these needs but to exceed them.

We have designed and tailored our service to meet your needs. We invite you to experience the exception to the traditional funeral service rule: personal care as individual and unique as the life you have built.
