Family House provides affordable, home-like accommodations and compassionate services for individuals and families of patients receiving health care in the Peoria area. When it matters most, Family House is a home away from home.

Your donations and support help us to provide affordable, home-like accommodations and services for our guests. Family House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and gifts are tax-deductible.

Family House offers a comfortable, serene environment and ample on-site parking. We are accessible 24-hours a day. Our dedicated staff and volunteers provide support, care, and compassion for all of our guests.

A Note From the Executive Director

Family House keeps families together during difficult times, when a loved one is ill, injured, or in need of medical care.

We also offer a temporary home for patients themselves, as they receive ongoing treatments critical for their health.

Family House guests can focus on support and healing with less worry about how to afford staying far from home. Our compassionate staff ensures every guest is well cared for in our beautiful, home-like setting.

Thanks to Family House supporters like you, we provided nearly 7,000 overnight stays last year alone.

It is an honor to witness each family’s journey. We see new parents raise their babies through serious health challenges, spirited teenagers courageously battle cancer, life-long spouses care tenderly for each other through terminal illness, and countless other stories of inspiration. Family House is truly love in action.
