From the receptionist to the girl who answered the phone in service Kyra. (I believe was her name)
She seemed to have answers, was really helpful.
Offered me a back up plan, and was very clear on that to expect on the visit.
I like the person to person contact, and did not have to spend 30 minutes trying to speak to robot instead of a person.
My service tech was Matt and Santiago. 10 stars

I was very happy with my experience of having Obie Comfort Solutions install a heat pump after my old furnace died. I had no heat and they were very prompt in helping me get the new heating system installed which I am quite happy with. Each member of the team from my initial contact with Lia Franco , Prescila Martins and Tel Del Paviva to the installation team of Majaiver Freitas, Oscar , Paul, Alex and Renato and the patching team of patching team Edy and Martin were wonderful. as was the electrician (I am sorry I don’t know his name). After the installation, I was impressed with the help I received from Lia and Prescila in applying for the mass save rebate and the followup by Majaiver Freitos. I will be telling neighbors and friends of how happy I was with this whole team who it was a pleasure to work with. Thank you.

I reached out to Obie Comfort Solutions to inquire about a whole home mini-split solution. From the very start of the process, Obie exceeded my expectations. I explained to Tel, a representative from Obie, exactly what I was looking for. Having been researching this project for years, I knew exactly what I wanted and didn't want. Tel took that information into account and provided me multiple estimates on the spot to suit my needs. No gimmicks, no predatory sales tactics. After receiving multiple estimates from multiple vendors, none could compete with Obie, so I ultimately decided to go with them.At first, I was a little nervous, thinking my project with Obie was too good to be true. However, I was wrong and Obie executed the project without a hitch. JP, the project manager, and his men Bruno and Renato did such an amazing job. They were professional, courteous, clean, and were even super nice to my dogs, who kept trying to play with them while they worked! Before anything was done, the men at Obie would always explain to me what was being done and why it was being done, checked to see if I had any questions, and confirmed that it was ok to proceed. There were absolutely no surprises, the workers came at the time they said they would, and they finished the project on time despite a snow storm! I'd also like to thank Stephanny, El, and Priscila, who I was constantly in communication with about the status of my project and answered any additional questions I had.Going forward, I will be utilizing Obie for all my plumbing needs. I had such a great experience with the entire team and can't recommend them more. You will not be disappointed when you go with Obie to complete your project.

We had a whole-home cold weather Daikin heat pump installed at our home. It was a big job - with new ductwork in the basement and attic along with two independent heat pump systems. The crew did a great job. The system is working really well. There was a ton of work all over the interior/exterior of the home and the crew cleaned everything up and made the whole process easy. Shout out to the install crew: Gustavo, JP, Roni, Will, Omar, Alexandre, Laércio, Saulo, Bryant.Also, Jefferson was really helpful and responsive on the sales side and provided tons of quotes and options for me.The office team including Lea, Ellen, and Stephanny has been great to work with. They made the paperwork easy and are helping me through the Mass Save rebate documentation.I highly recommend Obie!

We had a very successful installation of a new Mitsubishi mini-split system in a 100 year old building. Scott, our sales rep, was highly responsive to our requirements, clearly explained options for placement of the units, and provided a reasonable proposal. Obie, the owner, also visited our condo, reviewed the proposal, and suggested upgrades, at no additional cost to us to ensure we had an optimal spec'd system.The install was performed by 2 well trained and friendly techs - Ronny and Omar. They were very hard working (the compressor weighted 150 pounds and had to be carried up 4 flights of stairs to the roof, cleaned up each day and kept us informed of their progress.The net is that the project was completed in less than 3 days and our condo survived the install intact. Very happy with the cleanup efforts by the electrician and his helper and the 2 carpenters who built special boxes to house the wires/piping. As a loyal "membership" customer of OBIE Heating Services that was SOLD to us during their first initial visit, I've come to expect a certain level of service, especially considering the monthly premium I pay for supposed perks like same-day service and repair discounts. However, my recent experiences have left me bitterly disappointed, questioning the value of this so-called membership and integrity of this company all together.In July of this year, when my boiler decided to take an unscheduled vacation leaving us without hot water, I was met with a frustrating ordeal. Despite reaching out on the Friday before a holiday, I was informed that the earliest someone could attend to my heating emergency would be the following Wednesday as the fourth of July fell on a Tuesday.... For a service that prides itself on prompt attention to its members, this delay was odd... but I guess I could understand, plus it was July, and no hot water wasn't going to be the end of the world.OBIE Heating Services had previously serviced my boiler twice in the past year, once prior to the fail in July and then once after fixing the incident in July. Both times they serviced the furnace they failed to identify a faulty oil ignition piece that has now chosen the middle of winter to give out. The technician's visit ended on Friday with no solutions provided for the lack of hot water and heat in my home, leaving me in the cold both literally and figuratively.The real icing on the frostbitten cake came on the Monday following the service visit. When I called to ask the status, I was informed by the so-called manager – who conveniently claimed to be out sick on the critical Friday – that she had just ordered the necessary part that day. What's more, she proudly declared that she had sent an email to the provider, prioritizing electronic communication over immediate action in a crisis.When I questioned the manager about the choice to email rather than call, given the urgency of the situation, she became combative. It was revealed that they couldn't provide a timeline for the resolution and insisted that any estimate required sign-off before any work could begin. I, desperate for warmth in my home, explicitly stated that I would sign off on anything necessary to expedite the process, but even that did not seem to motivate OBIE Heating Services.To highlight the stark contrast in responsiveness, and to literally prove a point, I reached out to a heating services company on Martha's Vineyard, YEP, THE ISLAND, and to my amazement, they not only responded promptly but also managed to install a new boiler at my residence the SAME day, despite the geographical distance and a LITERAL OCEAN BETWEEN US. It's a sad state of affairs when a company from Martha's Vineyard can outshine a local service provider in Framingham, leaving me to question the competence and commitment of OBIE Heating Services.In conclusion, my experience with OBIE Heating Services has been nothing short of a betrayal of customer loyalty and a mistake by myself of signing up for anything being SOLD during a service visit. The lack of urgency in now two situations, failure to identify faulty parts after spending over 10 hours with the unit during service visits over a 6 month period, and the cherry, that "manager's" dismissive attitude towards immediate action are all clear indicators that OBIE Heating Services falls woefully short of providing the level of service promised to its paying members. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a heating service that truly values its customers.I do want to note, that every service tech we have encountered has been pleasant and polite, professional to a T, my issue is never with the employee but the management that allows this piss poor product to be delivered.

I've been using Obie for over 10 years. They've replaced both my central AC and bedroom AC units and provided routine maintenance on an annual basis. My most recent experience was terrific. Service technician Mattew Costa came to our house and did a routine maintenance, which he has previously done for the 2 AC units as well. As a follow up to the heating maintenance, Service technician Santiago Aguirre promptly came out and replaced/ fixed a number of parts on my 40+ yr old unit. Both of these gentlemen were professional, courteous and explained the best ways to keep our units running smoothly. Very pleased with their customer service.
