It is time for end of the year celebrations and events!

Please join us for the following:

  • Choral Memories Banquet – Monday, May 6, 2024 7pm NHS Cafe – A celebration of all choirs, band members, and crew with special recognition for seniors. Please bring a non-nut dessert to share.
  • MadJazz Concert – Friday, May 10, 2024 7pm LGI Room – Please come listen to MadJazz perform and enjoy a Friday night out.
  • 2024-25 Choir Parent Meetings, Monday, May 13, 2024 NHS Auditorium – Concert Choir and MadJazz Parents 6-6:30, Sensation Parents 6:45-7:15pm, New Dimension and Singers Parents 7:30 – 8:15pm. Please come vote for your NHS Choir Parent Organization board members, learn how to get signed up to connect with directors and parent groups, and get the information you need to be set for next year!
  • Concert Choir Finale Concert featuring NHS Choirs: Cantamos, MaleTonez, Momentum, New Dimension, Sensation, Synergy, and Singers – Tuesday, May 14, 2024 7pm NHS Auditorium – Enjoy our choirs performing in an end of the year concert.
  • Show Choir Finale Concert featuring MadJazz, Sensation, New Dimension, Singers, Pit Crew, KeyTonez, and Main Event – Friday, May 17, 2024 7pm NHS Auditorium. Come join us for the final concert of the season!
  • Volunteer Celebration – Sunday, May 19, 2024 5pm-7pm Noblesville VFW – Parents, please join us at the VFW for a celebration of a great year. We want to recognize our volunteer and provide an opportunity for socialization and fun as we wrap up the year. A taco bar, lemonade, and tea will be provided. A cash bar will be available. RSVP via GroupMe or by emailing nhscpopresident@gmail.com so we can ensure we have plenty of food!

Are you excited to get more involved with your child’s choir experience? We need you! The NHS Choir Parent Organization Board would love to have you run for office, chair a committee, or volunteer on a committee. We will discuss opportunities for concert choir, show choir, pit crew, and band parents at the parent meetings. If you are interested in running for a board position please fill out the form below.

Director’s Message To Parents

This community is so special- there is so much joy in the sound of our children singing together. These years of choir seem long, but go quite fast. Cherish each moment, each rehearsal pick up and the sets that get stuck in your head. Capture the effort and passion that presents itself on stage at every competition. These students have talent, yes- but more importantly – they have heart. You will laugh and cry- I promise. You will be exhausted and wonder how you will make it through the late nights and the agonizing waiting for results at midnight. You will scream until your throat is sore when they nail their performance show after show. You will smile when you watch the camaraderie and you will be so sad when the final rendition of “ Why we sing” is sung. But you will have so many memories to look back on and all your dedication and effort will have been for something irreplaceable- the tradition of sharing the gift of song and hard work is something that cannot be taught it must be experienced. These years are incredible – volunteer, stay and watch, and be amazed.
