We first fell in love with this school and what they stand for when both of our boys attended Somerset Christian Day Care. Our decision was quite easy when it came time to send them off to school. As a Christian family we believe that Christ should be the center of our lives and SCS makes sure our children live out that promise every day.

The majority of a child’s day is spent at school. It’s important to consider the influence a school has and know that kids adopt the values of their peers. I want our kids in a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging environment with small class sizes. The right school will encourage children to succeed and enrich their understanding of God. This is what Somerset Christian does.

Somerset Christian School provided me with a unique opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school. With the support of the SCS staff and school board, I was able to reconfigure my schedule, enabling me to complete two years' worth of college credits while graduating high school a year ahead of schedule. This advantage gave me a substantial head start, allowing me to graduate from college and to enter the workforce at the age of 20. My educational experience at SCS played an instrumental role in my success both in college and in the professional world.

SCS GRADUATE
We chose Somerset Christian School for our son because of the core biblical beliefs it holds. The small class sizes allow the teachers to give each student more attention. The teachers and staff have been wonderful and are always there to help or answer questions we may have. The school has been a blessing all around for us. It’s so great hearing our son talk and sing about God instead of idolizing a human.

One thing that stuck out with me was what this school meant to me and how everyone here feels like family. If you needed anything… you could go up to a teacher or a student and everyone was willing to help anyone.

Not only is our daughter getting a great education, but God is definitely moving in the school... you can feel it as soon as you walk in the building. This is a great school and we cannot wait to see our daughter grow and learn all about God and all his goodness.

Coming into SCS I put my faith in God to help us figure out the financial part of it. The monthly payments, the financial aid, the scholarships, and for us, the fundraising have made it possible. This move is one I'm so glad we made. I wish I would have done it sooner.

My daughter started going there (Somerset Christian Daycare) when she was 3 months old. The ladies took such good care of her and loved her so much. It was such a blessing to us that we decided to enroll her in school and she has been going there ever since. She is now 9 and you can really see the difference in her maturity level, in her kindness, and her faith. She is almost a straight A student. The one-on-one education she gets can't be beat and to see her heart on fire for the Lord just makes my heart so happy.
