    WHAT: Family swim will be a time for students to come practice their skills with their family. It is a great time to relax, enjoy your kids, and have fun in the water. Parents must be in the water with their children of all ages.


    FEE: The cost for non-enrolled families is 6 dollars a person, and cost for enrolled families is 4 dollars a person. Children 2 and under are free but must follow diaper policy. If you miss a swim class your family can attend family swim free used as a make-up class while child is enrolled only (no exceptions).


    EXPECTATIONS: A lifeguard is on deck, but parents are expected to be in the water with their children. Children 3 and under or not toilet-trained are required to wear two swim diapers. One disposable swim diaper covered by an approved (iplay brand) reusable swim diaper. These are available for purchase at our swim shop. If child is not properly diapered he/she will not be permitted into the pool. No Exceptions!

    - Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana will hold the 2017 Lapper fundraising walk and Survivors Day Celebration on Saturday, May 13, 2017 to raise money to help people with cancer.

    A cancer diagnosis exponentially increases the emotional and financial stress on families. The money raised through this walk stays in Northeast Indiana to help our neighbors and friends who have cancer.

    There are three ways to participate: 1) raise money and walk at the event, 2) make a donation or 3) become a sponsor. Many participants walk or donate in honor of a friend or loved one.

    Register to participate or make a donation online at click for details. Registration forms are also available at Cancer Services. Walkers who register and raise at least $35 by May 1 may receive a commemorative Lapper t-shirt. Water and fresh fruit are provided during the walk, which takes place rain or shine.

    After the walk, the public is invited to the Survivors Day Celebration at 11 a.m. The celebration includes food, music and fun for the entire family.

    - On Sunday, May 21st, 2017 the girls and volunteers of St. Vincent American Heritage Girls Troop IN3712 will host our 6th Annual Patriot Run Presented by Parkview Hospital. The location this year will be: Parkview YMCA Pavilion at 10001Dawsons Creek Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.

    The members of St. Vincent's AHG IN3712 plan this event for friends, families, and community members as our primary fundraiser. All are welcome to join in on this beautiful, paved course of Salomon Farm Loop and Pufferbelly Trail.

    Again this year will be a contest for Most Patriotic Participant. Please keep your costume family friendly.

    There will be a Kids' 1 Mile Run starting at 3:30PM for children aged 12 years and under. The early registration fee is $3/entry + processing fee. T-shirts are not provided for this event, but can be purchased separately. All finishers will receive a participation ribbon. A prize will be given to the top boy and girl finisher.

    Then, at 4:00PM, we will start the Patriot 5K Family Fun Run/Walk. This event is a chip timed race by Timed Events with prizes for top finishers.

    5K Early registration until 04/27/16 cost $20.00 Individual/ $75 Family + processing fees if online registration. Premium Dri-Tech T-shirt guaranteed with early registration.

    Early packet pickup will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 10 - 11:30am at the St. Vincent Scout Lodge, 8965 Auburn Rd, Fort Wayne 46825.
