More About Anderson Cinderella Project

On prom night, every girl deserves to feel like Cinderella, but for some, finances get in the way. This year, the SC Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) invites you to be a fairy godmother and make a student's dreams come true.

The Cinderella Project provides free, gently-worn prom dresses for students who lack the resources to buy a gown for their high school prom. You can be a fairy godmother by donating clean dresses in all sizes, evening bags, jewelry, shoes and other accessories.
Donate at any of the following locations by March 22:

• Anderson Mall Management Office (near Dillard’s), 3131 N. Main St., Anderson
• Blake & Brady Boutique, 140 N. Main St., Anderson
• McIntosh, Sherard, Sullivan & Brousseau, 138 N. Main St., Anderson
• Thomason & Pracht, 303 E. Greenville St., Anderson

The Cinderella Project boutique will be at Anderson County Library on March 24. Students can to shop for a free gown with a personal stylist from 10a.m. to 2 p.m. GLAM Beauty Bar will also be available for hair and make-up tutorials. Students, don't forget your student ID.
“Prom is usually one of the most memorable times for high school students, and it is truly a blessing to make these memories extra special,” said Lybrand.
