Monster in the Closet, by Angela D. Stewart, is a Theater-for-Young-Audiences (TYA) Production. It tells the story of Emily, who has a big problem. Not only is she sent to bed just as she reaches the highest level of her new video game, but there’s a monster in her closet! It’s not just her imagination. Her friend Stephanie saw it, too. Suffering the teasing of her brother and his friends, Emily and Stephanie recruit some of their own friends to help capture the monster.
Show dates are Saturdays and Sundays, October 8-16 (Saturdays at 2pm & 6pm; Sundays at 2pm). All shows will be at the Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater, 9543 Broadview Road (next to the Police Station). All tickets are $10. They can be purchased at Click for Details There will be pre-show activities as well as opportunities to meet the cast.
The cast includes Julia Ziel, Car Reitz, Lisa Mortensen, Sophia Wapp, Alexis Curtin, Elise Miller, Lillian Kasik, Avery Pyo, Maya Poveki, Raegan Kazy, Jake Thomas, Julie Onderak, Mark Hilan, Greg Moore, Fox Lugo, Bella Mortensen, Kaz Chaplain, and Charley Carmichael. The show is directed by Brenton Cochran and Kayleigh Joyce, and produced by Jean Brennan.
