Parkinson's Foundation Caregiver Lecture Tuesday, September 17th at Noon. Please register today!

Conversation is the primary way we use to communicate and maintain relationships. Parkinson's disease changes in speech, facial expressions, cognition, voice, and hearing can interfere with communication and conversation.

Danbury Senior Living will host a live-feed webinar of Dr. Angela Roberts "Communication Strategies for Optimal Success." Dr. Roberts will discuss challenges and strategies to optimize successful conversation between people with Parkinson's and those around them. Dr. Roberts is an Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Northwestern University, a Parkinson's Foundation Center of Excellence.

Registration and complimentary lunch will begin at noon with the Webinar at 1:00 and an interactive Create a Better You program at 2:00. Create a Better You™ is a specialized movement disorder exercise program proven to help our residents maintain independence!
