Friendship of Women is hosting its FREE community event to raise awareness to supportive services for victims and survivors of family violence and sexual assault in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention Month.

• Description- Friendship of Women, Inc. will host its 20th Annual Walk for Safe Families on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Dean Porter Park (Under the Large Green Pavilion) from 9 A.M. – 11 A.M. Our Event will include a moment of silence, a walk to raise awareness of the severity of family violence and abuse incidents in our community, and a resource fair. We ask that our community join us in taking a step towards ending family violence by becoming a community partner in our prevention efforts.
