English by the Hour offers Voice, Speech & American Accent Coaching to foreign-born Executives and Professionals throughout the Bay Area and via the internet using WebEx.We work exclusively with non-native speakers of American English. That could mean foreign-born professionals, but it might also be people born in the US of non-native speaking parents from other places. We have numerous clients from all regions of the world. We leverage our linguistic knowledge of how other languages affect your American English expression to help you gain the advantage of clarity, confidence, depth, and connection.We speciailize in helping foreign-born executives and professionals polish their English speaking skills, acquire clear diction, learn the American Accent when desired, and acquire Executive Presence in speech, movement, and personal rapport.Improve your speech, your voice quality, your depth of expression, how others see you by choosing the best course of action.

Coaching services provided by English by the Hour are focused, intense, and rigorous. The idea is to transition non-native speakers of American English in the Silicon Valley from accented speech to highly effective, communicative speech in 10 hours.

If you are outside of the Silicon Valley or too busy to commit to personal coaching, there is another option! The customized self-study program is a complete system you can use at home or in the office. It includes a linguistic analysis of your speech, a customized weekly plan of action you can follow to achieve your goals, along with a workbook of exercises, audio files, and access to our online video library.

Clients work one-on-one with a Coach and Accent Reduction Specialist who analyzes each individual’s speech to determine the issues they need to work on. Next, 10 sessions are designed to move clients from their current state of speech to a dramatically-improved one, typically achieving a 60-80% improvement.This is achieved by incorporating behavioral change techniques that create transformational change in a short period of time.

English by the Hour provides 1-1 professional training in American Accent Acquisition throughout Silicon Valley and live, in-person training via the internet. Our 10 session program enables lasting behavioral change in just over 2 months.
