The August Burgmeier's Hauling Discover Downtown Cumberland celebration will launch their first annual Weinerfest to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of Coney Island Hot Dogs & The Fort Cumberland Hotel aka Cumberland Arms, as well as, to commemorate life in Downtown Cumberland over the last 100 years. They will also be recognizing, throughout the weekend, all of the businesses in the Downtown Cumberland area who have been operating for 20 years or more.

Friday, August 10
6-10 pm: Acoustic Music on the McCoury Family Stage and Anniversary Cake

Saturday, August 11
10am-5pm: Downtown Cumberland Sidewalk Sale
10am-5pm: 100 Years of Music –McCoury Family Stage
10am-1pm: It’s A Dog’s Life – Puppy Parade and Doggie Trick or Treat
11am-2pm: Jim Rada, author of October Mourning: A Novel of the 1918 Spanish Flue Pandemic book signing at the Book Center
11am-5pm: Open House at Cumberland Arms (Formerly Fort Cumberland Hotel)
11am-6pm: Community Comes to Life at the Constitution Park Amphitheatre
1pm-4pm: Weiner Art for Kids
4:30 pm: Coney Island Weiner Eating Contest
5:30 pm: Recognition Ceremony
6:00 pm: Two With, To Win Drawing
6pm-9pm: Queen City Funk & Soul on the McCoury Family Stage
