Garlic Workshop

Garlic Workshop

More About Garlic Workshop

Dave Willis will offer historical and botanical knowledge about garlic plus tasting and crafting. Learn where garlic came from, what kinds there are, how to use it, how to grow it and some fun facts.

Participants will create their own 11 bulb braid of local organically grown Mountain Rose Garlic from Mountain Gourmet Garlic. Each participant will receive several cloves of two garlic varieties to plant in their garden. Optionally everyone will have the opportunity to signup for timely email reminders of when to plant, mulch, harvest, dry and enjoy their homegrown crop.

There will also be tasting of different varieties prepared in different ways and a chance to try seasonings made from our garlic.

Fee - $45. Braids from garlic like the ones you'll make normally sell for $25 plus you'll get cloves to plant for next year so this is a real value. Sign up at the Co-op during regular business hours.
