More About Jazz Supper Club featuring Marion Mitch & Marilyn Sheneberger

Come out and enjoy a supper club evening of Jazz featuring Marion Mitch and Marilyn Shenenberger.

MARION MITCH, having been exposed to all genres of music as a child, began vocal training in different genres of music. After the loss of her husband, Scott of 36yrs, and realizing life is too short Marion decided it was time to follow her dreams of singing. Focusing on jazz, self training while studying the styles of female vocalists and developing her own style, Marion took a giant leap out of the shy closet into public performance. She began singing 4 yrs ago coupled with a pianist, Ed Morgret and successfully preformed Friday evenings at a Cumberland, Maryland restaurant, Ottaviani for 11/2 yrs. Since then she's performed with Elizabeth Podsiadlo's Honeybee Studio in Romney on a few occasions and continues to take vocal lessons from the studio as well. Recently Marilyn Shenenberger, pianist joined forces with Marion completing the duo once again, 'The Supper Club' is in their infant stages doing what they love best!

MARILYN SHENENBERGER, collaborative accompanist and arranger, holds a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Westminster Choir College, Dalcroze teaching certificate from the Dalcroze School of Music in Manhattan under Robert Abramson, and a Bachelor of Music degree from Lebanon Valley College in music education. She has been the accompanist for a variety of Westminster Choir College choirs under the baton of James Jordan, and principal accompanist for the Westminster Conducting Instituted for the past 12 years, working with Charles Bruffy, Bruce Chamberlin, Vance George, Gary Graden and Weston Noble. Four years ago Marilyn and her husband moved to the Winchester area after she retired from her job as Director of Music and Principal Organist at Morrisville Presbyterian Church in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. In addition to the M & M Supper Club Duo with Marion Mich, she accompanies dance classes and instrumental students at Shenandoah Conservatory. Shenenberger is a seasoned performer, and has worked collaboratively with a variety of vocal and instrumental soloists, and choral ensembles, here and in Europe.
