More About Carmel Farmers Market OPEN with Modifications in Place for Everyone's Safety

Carmel Summer Market will be operating every Saturday, May through September, 8am - 11:30am, at Carter's Green(formerly Center Green)! In order to thoughtfully produce and manage the safest market possible for everyone, the following adjustments have been made:

PLEASE NOTE
• If you are sick, or have been around someone who is ill, please stay home.
• Vendors and Volunteers must wear masks & gloves while at the Market. All visitors are encouraged to wear masks.
• Maintain Physical Distancing by staying six feet apart from one another.
• All tables, chairs, scales, & hard surfaces are sanitized on a regular basis.
• Market layout has been reworked so that Vendors and Visitors can obtain, and maintain, maximum Physical Distancing. This has resulted in the institution of one-way aisles. We ask all people at the Market to observe the one-way signs.
• The Market has long required that our Vendors of prepared foods present us with their ServSafe certification.
• Tarkington Parking Garage and Tarkington restrooms are now open for use.
• No foods may be consumed at the Market. This includes on-site prepared foods.
• Hand sanitizer will be available all around the Market.
• The ATM will be open under the little red tent.

******************
The Carmel Farmers Market Committee wants to assure you that we continue to follow the best policies we can regarding how to help keep all … Visitors, Vendors and Volunteers, alike … as safe as possible. We have researched to find and adopt the best practices to deal with the virus from our peer farmers markets around the Nation. In addition, we have added some of our own best practices, such as outfitting many of our volunteers in green dayglow safety vests. Those vests are imprinted on the back with CFM Physical Distancing Crew. Their job is to remind all to maintain proper Physical Distancing. Below is a compilation of many, but not all, of the additional guidelines we have put in place.

For the first time this season, the Tarkington Parking Garage and Tarkington restrooms will be open for use. This means that the building elevators will be in use. But, what this also means is that Physical Distancing must be uppermost in your mind. The elevators are restricted to 50% capacity. That means no more than six passengers at any one time. Please be patient. If you count six or more people on the elevator when the doors open, wait for the next elevator. We also urge you to use masks in the elevators.

More About this Event Poster: Indy North Town Planner

The Town Planner calendar is a wonderful family-friendly resource FREE for all residents in the community owned and published by Tim and Cindy DiGioia.

We have lived in Westfield for nearly 20 years. Our boys grew up in the Westfield Washington Schools. We have spent countless enjoyable hours watching them play soccer and lacrosse. When Tim was downsized for the third time, we came across the Town Planner Community Calendar franchise and were hooked! The fit was perfect and we totally believed in the product. We never wanted to feel helpless about our future again. We took the plunge and became small business owners! It hasn't been easy but always rewarding-no regrets! We believe in what we are doing and know we can make a difference. Every day is a new adventure!

• For residents, the Town Planner provides year-round information on what's happening in our community, great savings from local merchants, and beautiful full color photography of scenic spots in our hometown.

• For merchants, the Town Planner puts you ON DISPLAY EVERY DAY -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! The calendar is such a useful tool, that folks keep it hanging up in a handy spot all year long. They see your company name every time they go to the fridge, the front door, or their office.

In addition to our yearly print calendar, our website, e-mail newsletter, and smart phone app are updated weekly to ensure that you can always find out where to go to have fun or to save money!

Call Tim at 317-270-4743 or Cindy at 317-818-1770. We will be happy to go over all details in person and find the best advertising program that suits your business.
