More About Chanhassen - Carver Scott Master Gardeners Series

Join us for the Carver Scott Master Gardeners Series. Each week will feature a different topic.

2/13: NATURE HEALS

For thousands of years, people have been cultivating plants, farms and gardens. Over time, the memory of these experiences has been written into our unconscious. Our evolutionary home is in nature, but now we live where many people live apart from the natural world. Join us as we explore ways to reconnect with the natural world.

2/20: FUN WITH HERBS

Beyond the kitchen, herbs are eco-friendly and a fun way to make your own cleaning supplies, beauty boosters, vinegar scrubs, aromatherapy and so much more. Come have fun learning new ways to use herbs.

2/27: FOOD PRESERVATION

Interested in joining the movement to preserve your own food? Our great-grandmothers and grandmothers preserved that goodness every year. Many of the methods are the same with new safeguards in place. Join us as we discuss how to preserve all that garden goodness.

3/5: INDOOR GARDENS

Join us as we learn the basics about gardening indoors, including terrariums and Fairy Gardens. The process is fun and a great way to take your love of gardening through the end of winter.

3/12: LAWN CARE

Are you looking for that lush green lawn? Are you interested in a lawn with less work? Are you new to lawn care and want some basics? Come join us for a class devoted to lawn care. Bring your questions and get help to answer them. Let your lawn be the green of dreams.

3/19: CONTAINER GARDENING

Just about anything can be used as a container and just about anything can be grown in containers. Join us to learn the secrets to successful container gardening, how to design ornamental and vegetable containers and some suggested plants.

More About this Event Poster: Town Planner

Welcome to the Town Planner!

The Town Planner calendar is a wonderful family-friendly resource mailed FREE every year to homes & businesses throughout the west metro.

For homeowners, the Town Planner provides year-round information on what's happening in our communities, great savings from locally-owned businesses & beautiful color photography of our area.

For businesses, the Town Planner puts you ON DISPLAY EVERY DAY -- versus quickly having your ad discarded into the recycling bin. The calendar is such a useful tool that families keep it hanging up in a handy spot all year long, making sure they see your business name every time they go to the fridge, to the front door, or to their office. There's simply nothing else like it!

In addition to our annual print calendar, our digital tools are powerful & intuitive. Our website, weekly events e-newsletter & smart phone apps are updated every day to ensure that you can always find out where to go to have fun or to save money!

We encourage you to sign up for our free weekly events e-newsletter--we will send local events to your inbox every Thursday. To sign up, choose "Newsletter" at the top of this page & select "subscribe".

Check back with us often, as we update our events daily!

Thank you,

Brian Burnstein & Tony Selinger
