More About Duck Donuts® Opens First Fort Mill Shop
Duck Donuts, known for serving Warm, Delicious and Made To Order!® donuts, announced today the grand opening of its seventh franchise location in South Carolina, and third in the greater Charlotte area, is set for Saturday, January 29, at 8 a.m.* Owned by Clayton Galindo and his family, the store is located at 810 Brayden Parkway in Fort Mill, part of the Brayden Village shopping center.
The 1st and 100th guest in line on Saturday, January 29, will receive a gift basket with assorted Duck merchandise.
“We first tried Duck Donuts when we heard how customizable they are,” says Galindo. “Picking out the toppings is a lot of fun and we loved being able to watch these delicious donuts being made right before our eyes. My family and I are so excited to bring these amazing donuts to our friends and family in Fort Mill.”
The 1,350 square-foot retail store reflects the franchise’s family-friendly atmosphere. In addition to donuts, the Fort Mill location serves Duck Donuts’ signature coffee blends—Riptide Roast, Light House Blend, and Sunset Pier Decaf—espresso, donut breakfast sandwiches, donut sundaes, new menu items including frozen beverages and milkshakes, select retail items, and more.
The store will offer outdoor seating. Within a few weeks, online ordering and curbside pickup will be available via the Duck Donuts app or website.
Duck Donuts specializes in warm, delicious and made-to-order donuts. Upon entering the store, customers are welcomed with the aroma of warm, light vanilla cake donuts. Customers can create their own donut combination by choosing from a variety of coatings, toppings, and drizzles, including traditional favorites such as chocolate icing with sprinkles and more adventurous creations such as maple icing with bacon. The family-friendly stores offer a viewing area where children and adults alike can watch their donuts being made.
As part of the Quack Gives Back program, 5% of grand opening weekend sales will go to the Humane Society of York County. Quack Gives Back promotes partnering with community groups to raise awareness and funds for their causes.
