More About Sweet Street Trunk-or-Treat & Festival
What is Sweet Street?
Sweet Street is a trunk or treat and festival held annually in Downtown Kannapolis, NC to provide a fun, safe, family friendly event for the children in our community. We provide live music, inflatables, and games, lots of candy, free cotton candy, free hot chocolate and coffee, and much more! The event was created by Charlie & Rhonda Barber (Outside the Lines Ministries founders) and is hosted by churches, businesses, and organizations. The event has grown each year, with about 1,500 in attendance our first year (2015) to more than 8,000 in 2021. We expect that growth trend to continue as we build the event each year to be better than the previous year.
