The Euclid Wind Fest will be held on June 16th, 3pm to 8pm, once again at Sims Park, 22131 Lakeshore Boulevard, located on Euclid’s beautiful lakefront.
Visitors to the fest will enjoy performances by DancEvert, a community kite fly on the beach (bring your own, or buy a kit for $3.00 from the OSEK Kite Club on site), informative and fun Lolly the Trolley tours to the Euclid wind turbines, wind related activities and crafts kids, music performed by “Pieces of Eight”, Dr. U.R. Awesome Bubble Show, inflatables, a 25 foot rock wall, great food, a beer tent, and more.
The Wind Festival is presented by the City of Euclid and Shore Cultural Centre, and is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture. The Shore Cultural Centre provides cultural and educational programs and events for area residents including concerts, plays and classes in music, theatre, art and dance. Built in 1913, the building was once Shore High School and has 125,000 sp.ft. of space much of which is leased to area businesses and community organizations.
