More About Medina Ice Festival
Heads up! The 29th Annual Medina Ice Festival is coming on Februrary 17th-20th.
Elegant Ice Creations’ “29th Annual Medina Ice Festival,” Feb. 17-20, 2023 presented by Serpentini Chevrolet opens at 5pm on Friday, February 17, with over 120 sculptures on display in and around the Historic Medina Square and South Town District through Monday, February 20 (Presidents Day). During evening hours and overnight, sculptures are highlighted by color-changing, LED lights. The event is free to attend and open to everyone. Pets on leashes are allowed, at your own risk.
On Friday, Speed Carvings will take place at 5:30pm, 6pm, and 6:30pm with lighting of the Fire & Ice Tower at 7pm. On Saturday, Individual Ice Carvings Competitions will take place and the hundreds of carvings will be on display throughout the Square the entire weekend. On Sunday, Team Ice Carving Competitions will take place. The Medina Ice Festival is the largest Ice Festival in Northeast Ohio, and one of the top festivals in Ohio.
