The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana is the largest hunger relief organization in the Region, and the only food bank serving Lake and Porter counties. It has been leading Northwest Indiana’s fight against hunger since 1982 and distribute more than 4.2 million meals each year to hungry kids, adults and seniors in the community. Each month, the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana serves more than 23,000 individuals and families through its 100+ partner agencies, mobile distributions, and direct service hunger relief programs like the Commodity Supplemental Food Program for seniors and the BackPack program for kids.

The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization and a powerful and efficient network of 200 food banks across the country.
