More About “Praying for America’s Unity” Concert of Prayer

On the National Day of Prayer, the public is invited to join in an evening Concert of Prayer service Thursday, May 3 at 6:30 p.m. CT at Hillside Community Church, 5201 W 109th Ave, Crown Point, Indiana.

The theme of this year’s National Day of Prayer is “Praying for America’s Unity.” The theme is based upon Ephesians 4:3, which challenges us to mobilize unified public prayer for America, "Making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

Led by Pastor Tony Suitor and Hillside’s praise and worship team, the service will feature songs of praise and preparation, scripture reading, silent prayers and a time for small group payers of confession, praise and intercessions.

Our national, state and local government leaders face many challenges in their day-to-day work. We invite you to join us as we pray for our leaders and invoke a call to God for Unity as a nation and for national and personal spiritual renewal. Our goal is that each person attending will sense God’s presence and feel encouraged to inspire others with a new sense of unity in America.
