Hands-on-History is a free class series developed in 2016 with a mission to showcase the creative gifts and strengths of individuals of Allegany County and the surrounding region. Learn by doing in a family friendly, local heritage site. Classes occur Saturdays 7 months of the year and are free of admission. For more information call 301-777-8678.

Beekeeping & Small business with Sandy Arnold of "Garden City Bees" April 21 @ 1PM

Becoming Wonderstruck, Learning about collecting with Brian Selznick's artful book, Wonderstruck, Family friendly, ages 9-15 encouraged. A copy f Wonderstruck will be needed for the two classes. 4 copies are available through the Allegany County Public Library System and 1 electronic copy. May 26 & June 2nd at 1PM

Telling Your Story, A two part Memoir writing workshop with Reverend Martha of Emmanuel Episcopal: July & August, Dates TBA

Portraying the Past, Learn what it takes to prepare and perform a historical portrayal and get tips on performing your own portrayal: September: Date TBA

Reenacting the Past, Do you have what it takes to live in another era? Learn Tips and stories from a reenactor: October Date TBA
