More About Cumberland Trail Connection Asks for your help

CTC Bikes (Cumberland Trail Connection) is seeking your help through a goFundme request.

CTC is the premier bike shop serving as your gateway to the C&O Canal and the Allegheny Passage in Western Maryland, Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. We strive to provide our customers with personalized service, whether meeting you at your point of destination, repairing your bikes when needed, or providing you with the information and resources you need for the most dynamic trips.

During this COVID-19 Pandemic, our regular business has taken a significant financial hit. We need your support to keep our doors securely open during these lean months until business picks back up.

Specifically, your gift, of any amount, will help us to weather these times and will pay for a range of expenses, including our vehicle payments and insurance, utilities, rent and salaries, among other operating expenses. We need the funds now into mid-summer (we predict) in order to make up for our current and expected losses in the months ahead. We hope to be making up for the loss in business by mid-July, assuming coronavirus has peaked, and it's impact's has significantly declined.

Fundamentally, your gift will help our business survive and continue to serve as a gateway to bike enthusiasts everywhere who want to explore and enjoy the beautiful paths that the Allegheny Passage, the C&O Canal and Western Maryland have to offer. In addition to helping to make these biking expeditions available to others throughout the state and surrounding regions, we are grateful as well for the ability to continue to provide local employment for our small staff and the ability to continue to play an integral role in the Cumberland community and its continued economic development.

Your support will help keep our doors open now and, most importantly, for the future, and it means we will be their for you when you are ready to take to the trails again! Thank you for your gift!

With gratitude,
Hutch and the CTC Team (Mishka and Shredder, too - our bike store pets)
