Wellness Wednesdays in Frostburg

More About Wellness Wednesdays in Frostburg

The City of Frostburg in partnership with Allegany College of Maryland's Community Resilience Collaborative are pleased to introduce Wellness Wednesdays to be held at Hoffman Park in the Grove. The series will begin on Wednesday, August 19 and we warmly welcome all community members.

This is a moment of unprecedented stress and uncertainty and it's taking a toll on all of us. Join us as we gather at the Grove to tap into the healing power of nature and practice simple techniques to help relieve stress and cope with challenges many of us face.

Individuals trained through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and others with specific expertise will share simple self-care ideas you can use to increase your resilience during this highly stressful time. The Grove at Hoffman Park provides a beautiful space that will allow us to physically distance while we come together as a community.Participate in the entire series or just come to the session(s) of interest to you.

Please bring a lawn chair or a blanket and a mask. Masks are to be worn when entering, leaving, and in any instance in which social distancing cannot be maintained; they are not required once seated in a socially distant manner.

Inclement Weather Policy: Check the City's website (click for details) or Facebook Page - (click for details for cancellations.
