More About Meditation Immersion Weekend

Please join Washington DC-based yoga and meditation teacher Hari-kirtana das for an upcoming Meditation Immersion Workshop at C. William Gilchrist Museum of the Arts in Cumberland.

This 2-day workshop is an introduction to a variety of meditation practices with an emphasis on object-oriented meditation in the Yoga tradition. It’s suitable for both yoga practitioners and teachers and will cover techniques for both practicing and teaching meditation. Yogis of all levels may participate. For yoga teachers, Continuing Education credits are available.

Students will work with a range of techniques, enabling them to move easily into brief, centering meditations that fit into a busy schedule as well as methods that will support entry into deep meditative states for extended periods of time.

The all-inclusive fee for this 2-day workshop is $175. It will take place from 10am - 6pm each day. There will be a one hour lunch break, with a vegan lunch provided, starting at 1:00 PM.

The location is the C. William Gilchrist Museum of the Arts at 104 Washington St Cumberland, MD 21502

To insure the quality of training, registration is limited to 12 participants. Registrations will be validated by payment.

To register, contact either Christina Collins-Smith of Balance Essential Wellness in Cumberland, MD or Leslee Wigfield of In The Zen Studio in Frostburg, MD.
