Jasper County Veterans Council 4th Annual Veterans Car Show

More About Jasper County Veterans Council 4th Annual Veterans Car Show

The Support Our Veteran's Car Show is scheduled this year for Saturday June 9th from 8 am till 3 pm. The purpose of the car show is to create revenue to support our local disabled and financially needy veterans. The funds we raise from the car show stay in Jasper County Indiana and is administered by the (JCVC) Jasper County Veterans Council which is a non-government funded office. The JCVC is totally dependent on donations with the donations and money raised from the car show is used to assist Jasper county veterans for such things as paying for rent, utilities, buy groceries and assist with transportation needs.

This will be the 4th year for the car show which has doubled in size each of the last 3 years. With expanded advertising this year we hope to attract over 300 plus cars with the first 150 cars receiving an award trophy and the first 150 cars a dash plaque. There is no registration fee to enter a car, truck, motorcycle or tractor.

The National guard will be participating in the show again this year displaying military vehicles along with artillery pieces, and will be setting up an 80' inflatable obstacle course that was a tremendous hit with the public last year. We have submitted a request to the National Guard to fly in a Blackhawk helicopter to add to the military theme for this year's show.

We started last year inviting vendors to set up booths to display their respective product and/or services. Traditionally vendors must pay to set up a booth at events such as this, but to support our cause and knowing that the addition of vendors attracts more public to stop in to take part in the show. We invite vendors to participate at no cost to set up a booth. The local American legion post sales food concessions during the car show which creates additional revenue that supports our local county veterans.
