Free Weekly Yoga in the Park Classes Expand to Elk Grove Community

Local nonprofit, Yoga Moves Us, will soon add Elk Grove as the newest community with free weekly yoga in the park classes. This year, six Sacramento-area parks, will host weekly classes designed for yogis of all levels at no cost to community members.

Weather permitting, classes will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at North Laguna Creek Park (6400 Jacinto Ave, Sacramento/Between the playground and the pond). Classes will continue through September.

No yoga experience is required for the 75 minute all levels classes. A limited number of yoga mats are available for participants who do not have their own mat. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to donate to Yoga Moves Us to help defray expenses, such as facility rentals during colder months and insurance.
