How The West Is One
The 61th annual Elk Grove Western Festival celebrating this year’s theme How The West Is One. Join us for a weekend filled with fun and excitement and help us celebrate the 5th annual Elk Grove Western Festival & BBQ Championship brought to Elk Grove courtesy of the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS).

WHEN? Friday May 4th - Sunday May 6th
WHERE? At the Elk Grove Regional Park
The Carnival starts things off Friday night, it will be a ticketed event Friday Night, and parents are free.

The festivities continue with the Western Festival Parade on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM. The Parade starts on Elk Grove Blvd at the corner of Emerald Oak Drive and ends at the Elk Grove High School back parking lot.
All parade entries will be judged on their ability to celebrate the history of the Elk Grove Western Festival as it has been celebrated for the past 61 years. Judges will be looking for creative interpretation of this year's theme How The West Is One.

Come and join us for three days of family fun and excitement at Elk Grove Regional Park. It will be a weekend filled with wonderful entertainment, great food, KCBS BBQ competition, classic cars, art exhibition showing the talents of your local High School Students, the Kid's Zone, Crafter's, vendors and our fabulous carnival rides and games.
