Nobody sings about love and heartache like the late, great, Patsy Cline… and nobody sings “Patsy” like Rachel Brown. With increased fan requests, Brown dipped her painted toes into the sea of country legend Patsy Cline and created a fitting tribute to this icon. The regularly “sold-out” concerts treat the audience to her most beloved and memorable songs including “Leavin’ on Your Mind,’’ “Tennessee Waltz,’’ “I Fall to Pieces’’ and, of course, the Patsy song, “Crazy,’’ along with favorites from other artists of the era. Rachel Brown has been sharing her sometimes sultry, sometimes sexy and always sassy voice with country and Americana and blues fans for decades now. An experienced singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, she has opened for many top artists including Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Clint Black, Alan Jackson, Bill Monroe and The Judds. Patsy Cline and Friends is the perfect event to share with your sweetheart and close out Valentine Month.

More About this Event Poster: Lorain County Community College

In April of 2014 LCCC launched the MyUniversity plan. MyUniversity is a guarantee that gives high school students the ability to earn college credit and college degrees right at their own high schools through the College Credit Plus program. MyUniversity is one significant way LCCC is delivering on its promise to deepen the impact of the University Partnership program. MyUniversity will enable high school students to even go as far as earning an associate degree simultaneously with their high school diploma. Students can then continue on to earn a bachelor’s degree through LCCC’s University Partnership program. In doing so, students can save over 80 percent of the cost of a bachelor’s degree through MyUniversity, essentially saving families tens of thousands of dollars in college debt.
