Walk, run, or bike with the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana on Saturday, September 17th at Lake County Fairgrounds at the Hunger Hike! Create a team with family, friends, and coworkers and walk, timed 5k run, or bike, to raise awareness and funds to support hunger relief in Lake & Porter Counties. Participants will also enjoy games, kids area, upbeat music, sponsor booths, and more! All proceeds will provide meals for individuals and families facing hunger. Register today: foodbanknwi.org/hike

The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana is the largest hunger relief organization in the Region, and the only food bank serving Lake and Porter counties. It has been leading Northwest Indiana’s fight against hunger since 1982 and distribute more than 4.2 million meals each year to hungry kids, adults and seniors in the community. Each month, the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana serves more than 23,000 individuals and families through its 100+ partner agencies, mobile distributions, and direct service hunger relief programs like the Commodity Supplemental Food Program for seniors and the BackPack program for kids.
