More About MGAGCM Garden Tour
Master Gardener Association Genesee County will host their annual garden tour Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 10 am to 4 pm. This is a self-guided tour focusing on unique gardens in the Swartz Creek area. Each garden reflects the homeowner’s personal taste and will highlight the following features: prickly pear cacti grown in Michigan, an ornamental pond, Hosta Garden, country garden with a she-shed reading retreat, succulent garden and roses with a hand-crafted archway and a vegetable garden. Each site will have two Genesee Master Gardeners who will share scientifically based information related to each garden.
Pre-Sale tickets which include detailed directions and maps may be purchased for $10 at Bordine Nursery, Walker Farms & Greenhouse, and Beadin’ Mon. Tickets may also be purchased on day of tour at 1243 S Elms Road, Flint, MI.
