More About Springs, PA Museum Open May 28 thru September
The home, the shop, toys, the farm and the trades of the early settlers of the Casselman Valley (Northern Garrett County, MD and Southern Somerset County, PA) are attractively displayed in a large two-story building. The Folk Addition includes farm equipment, Conestoga wagon, tools and much more.
View first-hand what an early school room, store and church were like. Also see Spinning wheels, (including Joel B. Miller items) and looms over 200 years old. Military uniforms as well as local sports displays are a more recent addition.
We are excited to announce a new addition is in the planning state for a maple sugar exhibit, made possible through the Wagner Estate. Watch for updates in the future.
The Springs Museum will be open for the season Saturdays May 28 through September, 10:00 am - Noon or by appointment. Something for everyone's interest on two floors and equipment annex. Adjacent to Farmers' Market - 1711 Springs Rd., Springs, PA 15562 Click for Details or 814-442-4594.
